Radical reform of the Common Agricultural Policy has been backed by a range of green groups, aid agencies and consumer associations. The UK government agrees with the proposals but does not believe that they go far enough. More than 200 responses were received from a variety of organisations and included views from the National Farmers Union, Countryside Alliance and the Tenant Farmers Association.
