The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister has published 'Addressing the needs of run down private sector housing'' which is a final report and good practice guide on the problems of neighbourhoods with run down private sector housing. The full report is based on a major study undertaken by DTZ Pieda Consulting in response to growing recognition particularly in the north and the midlands of the need for significant action to tackle the problems of run down private sector housing as a major element of responding to low demand.
