Comments on benefits of online searching for land and property, with assessment of NLIS since its' launch in 2001. It aims to speed up the delivery of land and property searches to solicitors, but only 2000 firms have registered online so far. Suggests this reluctance to resister online has been due to initial doubts about the system, but warns that firms will be left behind as the technology advances quickly.
