Looks at the consequences of the judgement in Anchor Brewhouse Developments Ltd v Berkley House (Docklands Developments) Ltd (see Abs 38477) where it was held that cranes swinging over adjoining premises were trespassing. This means that contractors must give notice to neighbours if a crane is to be used and obtain consent in writing.
