According to an annual survey of British attitudes, society is becoming less interested in investing extra resources in social housing. In the latest "British social attitudes survey" just 8% of people chose housing as their preferred area for government spending.In contrast, health saw an 83% backing for more money and 67% wanted extra spending for education.
