Strutt & Parker claim that residential values now account for more than 50% of farm prices. According to the firm's latest "Farmland update" for the three months ending September, the residential element accounted for nearly 55% of the total cost of farms and estates sold. This is the first time residential has been greater than the farmland itself. Graphs.
