Considers how the symbiotic interaction between authorites, authority-related and commercial organisation in the Dutch construction industry contributes towards the realisation of government sustainability policy. Research over a 10 year period into the Dutch house-building sector has found that action by and interaction between public and private organisations directed towards innovation in sustainable construction is part of a sector-wide strategy.
