Homebase has been refused permission to appeal to the House of Lords against a CA decision in favour of landlord Allied Dunbar. Allied Dunbar prevented Homebase from subletting a property at a discount. Homebase claims the decision is at odds with government's support for lease flexibility (see Abs65740 for CA decision).
