A new consultation document from the Highways Agency asks for industry feedback on the future use of private finance to deliver improved road services. "Improving DBFOs" (Design, Building, Finance and Operate) looks at the Agency's DBFO procurement processes and outlines ideas to speed up delivery of projects, increase flexibility of contracts, and reduce tendering costs. Consultation deadline is 28 February 2003.
