Overview of what is required under the new Building Regulations Approved Document L2 (2002 Edition) which came into force on 1 April 2002. These mean new buildings with excessive air leakage will no longer be acceptable. All new commercial and public buildings over 1 000sq m must be designed, constructed and tested for airtightness.
