In Arora v Hackney LBC ; Motivation Display Ltd v Same QBD 18 December 1990 it was held that the erection of a revolving display did not constitute the same "activity" as the erection of hoardings bearing advertisements under Town and Country Planning Act 1971 s90(2), as substituted by Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Act 1977 s1.
