Discusses "Impresa Castelli SPA v Cola Holdings Ltd" (TCC [2002] CILL 1904) and "Skanska Construction Regions Ltd V Anglo-Amsterdam Corporation Ltd" (TCC Abs66313), which deal with the issue that the generally accepted principle, insofar as possession by an employer is concerned, is that liquidated damages willl cease to apply from the date of possession, unless the contract provides otherwise.
