The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) has launched a 10-step guide on how to develop successful, well-designed business planning zones (BPZs). "Ten ways to make quality count: business planning zones". Business planning zones (BPZs) are one of a number of measures intended to make the planning system faster, simpler and more effective. They should be high quality environments attractive to investment and a move away from the model of a car-dominated, mono-use environment with poor accessibility and little viability.
