New report commissioned by the Mayor and the Government Office for London argues that many London boroughs could increase their supply of affordable homes by lowering the thresholds of sites on which affordable housing can be sought. The report recommends that the thresholds which set the number of homes in a development above which affordable housing can be sought be reduced to five - 10 from their current levels of 15 or 25.
