According to Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne's (IREG) "Property investment monitor" in the first quarter 2003, investment in Irish property will fall from 900m (£610m) in 2002 to less than 500m (£339m) in 2003. Irish investors are switching their spend to the UK and Europe, drawn by favourable comparative yields.
