Recent changes in the law have meant that the forms that should be used with a periodic tenancy to increase the rent have been changed and the system has been altered for weekly paying tenants. Reviews the changes in detail, including the new situation which will allow rent increases to take place any time after week 52, provided this does not bring it forward by one whole week from the original start date, in which case it must be at least 53 weeks.
