The effect of common mistake in contract law has been reinstated by the CA in "Great Peace Shipping Ltd v Tsavliris Salvage (International) Ltd " ([2002] EWCA Civ 1407, [2002] 3 WLR 1617). "Solle v Butcher" (CA [1950] 1 KB 671) has been overturned on the grounds that it conflicted with "Bell v Lever Bros Ltd" (HL [1932] AC 161).
