RICS launches new initatives to equip surveyors with business and management skills and a greater commitment to lifelong learning. These new programmes include enhanced APC/ATC competencies and a mandatory post-graduate business qualification. A web-based list of providers who offer post-graduate management qualifications is being developed and will be available later this year. The changes will effect chartered surveyors who qualify as MRICS after 1 September 2004.
