- 2003
- Farmers' Weekly 138(17) 25 April 2003, 20(1) .
New government figures show short term rents slumped by over 20% in 2002 but reductions in farm business and traditional tenancy rates were marginal. The average rent for seasonal lets of less than one year was £102/ha compared with £130/ha in 2001. Foot and mouth was blamed for the fall especially in areas worse affected by the disease.
