Under the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 long leaseholders of houses have the right to arrange their own buildings insurance, subject to certain conditions. A new consultation seeks views on the additional information to be included in the notice of cover and on the form of the notice as prescribed in the draft Leasehold Houses (Notice of Cover of Insurance) (England) Regulations 2003.
