A report by the Economic and Social Research Fund has found that environmental policy comes second to economic policy in local authority policy and decision making in regeneration projects. Studying six different areas across England the report reveals that although environmental concerns are often considered and debated, there is no comprehensive strategy to make economic development more environmentally-friendly.
