CABE and Sport England have published jointly a new guidance document "Better places for sport" to assist those involved in the creation of sports facilities. The guidance covers the four main stages of facilities development: preparation, design, construction and usage. It sets out how design quality can be safeguarded through all the stages of the project from inception to on-going use and includes checklists for successful projects.
