Nationwide's May 2003 monthly review of house prices highlights a 1.3% rise in UK property prices in May with a downward change in annual house price inflation to 21.3 % from 22.2% in April. House sales for 2003 so far are 7% down on 2002 with the number of first time buyers falling as much as 30%+ in southeast England.
