The English Historic Towns Forum has launched a review report on its"Historic core zone project report", which looks at development of four towns. It claims that historic town and city centres could be enhanced through improved measures to control traffic, backed by extra funding and emphasises that an enforceable level of priority for pedestrians over motorists should be adopted.
