Reports on the problem facing Scottish private owners and public landlords over repair and maintenance issues on their property. The Scottish Parliament is debating the reform of property but this will not address these issues. Scotland has more commonly owned property than the rest of the UK and these often suffer disproportionately from repair problems. There is no legal framework in Scotland to correct the problem.
