High-risk form for contractors

The Joint Contracts Tribunal has drawn up a new form which offers contractors greater freedom from client intervention in return for assuming more risk when constructing major projects. The agreement, the "Major project form", is based on the client giving the contractor a detailed description of its requirements, including areas of potential risk, then leaves the contractor to design and build the facility.
