The latest RICS "Construction market survey" for the second quarter 2003 reveals that the high level of investment in public building projects such as schools and hospitals is keeping the UK construction industry in good health. The survey shows that 29% of chartered surveyors in the construction industry reported increases in workload although the private construction sector is experiencing a slowdown.
