Figures from Nationwide's latest quarterly and monthly reviews of house prices show that prices across the UK rose by 0.9% in June 2003 compared with an average rise of 1.1% over the previous three months. In London price growth slowed sharply with annual house price inflation falling to 15% in the second quarter. In comparison, northeast England and Yorkshire and Humberside saw 30% plus annual inflation rates. Nationwide's house price forecast for 2003 remains unchanged at 10%.
