- 2003
- RICS Press Release (pr076) 21 July 2003 (3) .
The number of unsold properties on surveyors' books has risen to the highest level since September 2000 as sales levels continue to fall, according to the latest "RICS housing market survey England and Wales". In June the average number of unsold properties per surveyor was 78, up 9% since March and up 34% from this time last year. However, there are signs of buyers returning to the market, strengthening prices in London and southeast England, and improved confidence levels among surveyors.
