The final report of the Foot and Mouth Disease Economic Impact Assessment Group is published which shows that the overall impact of FMD on the Scottish Economy as a whole was a fall in GDP of between £13.6m and £29.8m. This is the first report to quantify the economic supply costs of the outbreak at a sub-Scotland level.
