Environmentally friendly farming in Scotland given more support

Scottish farmers and crofters will receive further support from the Scottish Executive to help them protect Scotland's valuable natural heritage. Changes to the operation of the Rural Stewardship Scheme (RSS) will encourage collaborative applications and guarantee access to the RSS for Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA) leavers.
