Green spaces in urban areas in Scotland are to be protected and enhanced through a £400 000 Scottish Executive funding initiative. Over 30 projects will benefit from this funding, which will be distributed by Greenspace Scotland. Working with a wide range of partners, local greenspace trusts will 'grow' these resources into a £2.5m package of improvements.
