New guidance for fairer contracts

OFT has revised its guidance on tenancy agreements with reference to assured and assured shorthold tenancies. Social landlords are encouraged to avoid what OFT believe to be potentially unfair terms such as a compulsory arbitration clause. "Unfair tenancy terms" is available from the OFT website, www.oft.gov.uk.
