Draft scenarios presented by water companies to Ofwat the industry regulator last week outlined plans to spend £21bn on infrastructure between 2005 and 2010. Common themes across the industry include a continuing investment in quality improvements and an emphasis on renewing assets and infrastructure to further concentrate on customer service.
