Noise considered a design priority

A study by architectural lobby group Design for Homes has found noise to be the main concern of people living in homes built to the density levels of PPG3. These problems were found to arise because of poor construction, detailing of party walls or by having windows of adjacent properties too close together, rather than by the density of housing.
