Third in a series of articles covering construction law this article looks at how to choose a procurement route which best suits a project, concentrating on traditional procurement, design and build procurement, management contracting and hybrids. Concludes that construction lawyers can add value if they are involved at an early stage to advise on procurement issues. They can offer advice on contractual implications, risk allocation issues and foresee problems. (See also Abs66406 and Abs67030).
