Scottish environment minister Ross Finnie in a Glasgow conference told of the need of a change in attitude towards waste. A plan was required to reduce the materials used and recycle what could not be reused. The National Waste Plan was mentioned here which sets ambitious targets for recycle or compost 25% of Municipal Solid Waste by 2006.
