Companies that lease rather than own their property outperform the stock market, according to research undertaken for Donaldsons by Professor Meziane Lasler, of City University's Cass Business School in London. The study shows that companies that lease all their property enjoy better operating performance, with 20% less debt, 25% more cash and 40% less inventory.
