Housing Gap Funding Scheme delays

Housing Gap Funding Scheme delays - 2003 - RICS News Service 5 November 2003 (1) .

RICS has communicated its views to English Partnerships (EP) on their proposed Housing Gap Funding Scheme, a new investment tool enabling the public sector to support regeneration and housing supply. RICS is concerned on how long it is taking EP to introduce the scheme and the effect of this on regeneration projects. Concerns are voiced on problems that projects judged on design criteria and receive state aid could encounter under the new scheme and also the lack of a housing policy framework. Further information on EP's Housing Gap Funding Scheme is available at http://www.englishpartnerships.co.uk/pages/page_01.asp?PageID=425.
