UK sales rise says CBI

The latest CBI retail survey indicates that 56% of retailers said that their sales had risen in October. Which compared with only 21% claiming a fall in sales. The overall balance of a rise of 35% is the fastest rate of growth since April 2002. Grocers saw the strongest year on year growth, whilst retailers selling durable household goods saw sales fall.
