Threat to London's reputation - 2003 - Planning (for the Natural and Built Environment) (1546) 21 November 2003, 6(1) .

Research from KPMG for the corporation of London shows London's status as a world city is under threat by its creaking public transport infrastructure. In a comparison with other Amsterdam, Brussels and Frankfurt, London's public transport comes out worse with only 75% of trains arriving on time in contrast to 93% in Paris. Investment in surburban rail and underground lines is poor with just 38km in 30 years.
