Reports that delegates at the RICS valuation conference, will be facing three big issues to debate: the meaning of market value, the new International Accounting Standards (IAS) and complying with the Carsberg rules. Article concludes that although IAS will not be adopted by listed companies until 2005, the changes are likely to complicate the job of valuers working on leasehold properties.
