In the 12 months to October construction orders were down 1% and fell by 16% compared to the same three months in 2002. All order figures are seasonally adjusted and in constant (2000) prices. Private housing orders, infrastructure orders, public non-housing orders, private commercial orders and private industrial orders are also included. Next publication date for the new construction orders statistical release is 15 January 2004.
