The government has accepted most of the proposals made by the Tenancy Reform Industry Group (TRIG) to boost the tenant farmer sector. Measures include a new code to stimulate more diversification for tenant farms, a new adjudication scheme to handle disputes, greater flexibility in rent review provisions and in agreeing compensation limits at the end of tenancies.
