Appeal of landlord (A) from the judge's decision ([2003] EWCA Civ 491, [2003] All ER (D) 134 Apr) that i) the tenant (K) had validly served a counternotice in response to its rent review notice and ii) A had unreasonably witheld its consent to a proposed subletting of part of the demised premises to a third party (C). "Held" K's solicitor had been informed of the change in the location of A's place of business while acting as his solicitor in relation to his lease of the premises. Appeal allowed in part.
