A series of three articles looking at draft Policy Planning Statement 22: "Renewable energy" (PPS22). "Winning over the detractors" reveals that there has been a favourable response to the draft guidance from the renewable energy community. "Sea change for renewable" outlines major implications for developers, council and local communities if the draft guidance is implemented. Diagram shows how renewable energy supports other planning objectives such as affordable housing, rural diversification contaminated land, woodland management and urban regeneration.
