Discusses the findings of a recent survey by SJ Berwin on the impact of the Code of Practice for Commercial Leases on the property sector so far. Reveals that contrary to expectations many leases reflect the commercial lease code recommendations with 68% of the 60 tenants and agents interviewed stating that they had either granted or taken a lease substantially in line with the code.
