Honourable intentions

Murdoch, S.

Honourable intentions - 2004 - Estates Gazette (0409) 28 February 2004, 143(1) .

Discusses "Bolton MBC and Torkington" ([2003] EWCA Civ 1634, Abs...) which examines the legal effectiveness of a deed executed by a corporation. The sealing of a deed by a corporation does not in itself constitute delivery of the deed. Sealing may suggest that delivery has taken place but delivery turns on proof of the intention of the party executing the deed.
