Sustainable Buildings Task Group's report, 'Better buildings - better lives' suggests a new Code for Sustainable Building (CSB). This sets out best practice standards on energy efficiency, flood resilience, water consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and waste production. The main government departments have agreed to start work immediately on the main principles of the CSB.
