Summarises the main points of the EU procurement rules. The initial EU directives have been incorporated into English law and are known as the Public Procurement Regulations. Briefly outlines some recent cases which can give guidance on the application of the regulations. States recently issued amended directives will allow for e-auctioning and other more up-to-date means of tendering. This will lead to new public procurement regulations being issued.
